BINchek / BINchek Lookup for desktop
BINchek Lookup for desktop

BIN lookup on macOS and Windows

BINchek Lookup brings the workflow into a dedicated desktop app. The local database supports basic offline reference searches, while an active subscription enables online access to the current 6–11 digit database.

One interface for local and online lookup

The app is intended for recurring operational lookups where a separate browser tab interrupts the workflow. Offline mode uses an embedded reference database; online mode authenticates with a BINchek account and respects the active subscription.

Does not require sending a full card number
Supports macOS and Windows
Subscription and limits remain tied to the service account

Build-signing status

Current archive builds may not be signed with Apple Developer ID or a Microsoft code-signing certificate, so Gatekeeper or SmartScreen may display a warning. A rebuilt release is in preparation; use the web interface for sensitive work until a signed release is published.

Do not disable system protection for a file from an unexpected source
The rebuilt release will list version, date, signature and checksums here
The web version remains available independently of the desktop release

Frequently asked questions

Why does macOS or Windows display a warning?

An archive build may lack platform signing or notarization. That does not prove malware, but the operating system cannot verify the publisher.

Does desktop require a separate subscription?

Online features use the BINchek account and its active subscription terms. Offline reference behavior depends on the installed build version.
